The newest version doesn’t have a radio area, you control that via sync.

the version of waze that is installed is very old. You have to go to the play store and download the latest version. It won’t show as an update, just search for waze and install it.

after you truck has been off for 24 hours by default the tablet will shut down so when you start the truck again it will go through a full boot up, which is about 30-40 seconds. You can change this to 48 hours in settings

The f-150 Bluetooth is much better IMHO.

only way to see the radio mode would be to be in console mode and see it through the sync display

if you don’t have a temperature displayed it won’t work. I think they only work on newer trucks with sync 3 and auto ac. I have a temp reading on my 2018 lariat.

2. how to get Waze to show police? My option within Waze for police is selected but they do not show up (compared with my phone side by side). I am not sure if this is a app issue or related to the old Android version the tablet is running. I bought this device primarily for Waze, so I am a bit annoyed I cannot see police (accidents and speed traps).
3. I have the "quick boot" version. It still takes about 45 seconds to boot up after the vehicle has been off for a while. Does this sound correct?
4. Is it better to use the F150 bluetooth or the Tablet Bluetooth for phone calls?
5. Is there a way to show on the screen displaying which audio input is selected? (The mode button on steering wheel does not show anything on tesla screen, I have gotten used to cycling through radio but this is not ideal).
6. Is there a way to show the temperature on the screen without a special app that I have to click to (and would otherwise be hidden)? As odd as it sounds, I miss seeing a temperature display.

When I'm on the console screen there are buttons for radio control (tune up or down) however there is no display of what the radio buttons are actually doing (current frequency). So you have no idea of what frequency the radios on. Maybe I have the unit hooked up wrong, because Sync name/logo is not showing up specifically on the Tesla screen.

Also, my unit is a 2016 Platinum and the stock radio definitely has temperature showing on the head unit but this is not showing on the Tesla.
Thoughts?

Hey all, I just orderd the PX6 for my 2018 F150 with B&O. How long did it take to get it? I've heard anything from 3 weeks on up.

Default 2014 Screw

Hello, and thanks in advance, I have a 2014 F150 Screw, it has the 4,2 sync that connects to bluethooth but I can not get the Audio to play in the truck,
since this uses the sync hardware will i have the same issue, or would this fix it?

Nope. But last time, I got a shipping email hours after the unit arrived at my house. "Your order has shipped!" as I am holding it in my hands- LOL!

I put a normal sized android unit in my Mustang. When I turn off the car and open the door the radio quickly powers off I turn the car back on it nearly instantly powers on. If I make a configuration change there is a full powered down and boot up sequence. I'm planning on picking up a truck in the near future and I think I'd really enjoy a radio like this. Does it power on/off like the radio in my mustang?

Can you change wallpaper image of the truck?

how much can you change what widgets and what not are on the main screen?
