for what its worth, i tried going down the android head unit road when i had my wrangler. in theory its a great idea, but i had all kinds of issues keeping it connected to my phone via wifi which was set up as a hotspot.

sometimes it would connect, sometimes it wouldn't see it and i'd have to reset the wifi connection (delete wifi and pw info and reinput it).

I've been much happier with my refurbished kenwood radio and carplay. the only thing i want is waze on carplay but i can live with mounting my phone near the dash and just having waze up on there.

Well, less than 24 hrs and I received a response from Phoenix stating all factory controls in my Platinum, including massage function, will remain with their product...more $ spent!

Its look very cool but wonder what happens with all the Sync 3 setting for door key pad code, ambient lightning etc etc... do they all go out the window?
