[QUOTE=Boudreaux80;5933713]2. Interesting, my stock usb ports, the ones under the radio in that little hide away drawer area work fine. Maybe you didnt plug in the cable? Loose connection? Maybe they changed something?
I tried everything They claimed it should work. But no luck. The lights on the port work.. But nothing else.. Not enough power coming through the ports I guess ... I plan to get it checked by an electrician.
3. No sound here. Wonder what that could be. Happens every boot up?
Yes. Every boot. And if the volume was high... Ouch!!!
I also don't like the idea that there isn't two volumes.. One for the phone and one for the audio
4. I actually soldered a mic jack in place of the on board mic, and then ran a 3.5mm mic from there behind dash and up A pillar. I have the mic hidden about the drivers door.
Thats a neat idea. Would you happen to have any pictures ?
I wonder if it would be possible to install your rom on my device...

1. Haven't tried another music player yet. I use SiriusXM and YouTube for my music. I do have a lot of music on a flash drive that's in one of my USB ports, but I don't use it often.
2. My USB ports work fine. In fact, I have a flash drive in one for my music.
3. I actually get that sound too. It's not every boot and it's very rare. It sounds like a notification but I can't find where to turn it off either. Since it barely happens, I don't worry about it.
4. Mine actually came with an external mic. The mic they provided has pretty good quality and plugged right into the jack on the back of the radio in one of the harnesses. No soldering needed.

There should be a interface module that came with the device.. It can read the original reverse camera. You should use this interface if you want to use the original reverse camera
I have marked the interface module
