The reason I have that amplifier is because it was used in my jeep but those subs wouldn't fit without lifting the back seat.

It was definitely the amplifier overpowering the subs, I wired the subs in a series like the post above, it sounds a lot better and hits harder, thanks guys.

Default Do yourself a favor and read this before purchasing from them

DON'T DO IT! Talk about a horrible experience! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, read this before purchasing from these folk. I bought a custom speaker enclosure several weeks back. Talk about a nightmare! The box arrived damaged primarily because it literally was wrapped in cardboard with a shipping label and placed on a truck. I have no doubt it was bounced around by the shipping company, and when it arrived, Sun Valley Stereo installers were quick to point out the damage. I immediately reached out to Super Crew and was told that I was responsible for the costs to ship the item back (despite the fact the product broke during shipment specifically because it had not been properly packaged), and to add insult to injury they want me to pay a 25% restocking fee! Their response: "Under our return/shipping policy damage product is replaced with a non-damage product. If you still wish to return you pay the return shipping plus a 25% restocking fee. Let us know how you wish to proceed." I honestly did think about just letting the whole matter go, suck it up and ship the product back; however, I was in for one more surprise. Because of the shipping dimensions and weight I was left with two choices FedEx and UPS. When I brought the item into the store to have it shipped out I was instructed that I would have to create a custom box and they, of course, are required to pack the product properly so all told I was looking at a cost higher than my purchase original price to return the item. To make a long story longer and even more painful, I tried to dispute the charge with VISA and Chase, however, to dispute the charge you must return the items. Needless to say, I highly recommend consumers STAY AWAY FROM SUPERCREW SOUND!!!!

That's par for the course with both super crew sound and sub thump. Their construction is almost as bad as their customer service. Lesson learned. Sorry you had to deal with that.
