All,

Installing a reverse camera and need to know the location and color of the reverse wire on a 2010 STX.

ok there are a few ways to do it... you can just tap into the reverse light on the taillight assembly, If you have an auto-dimming mirror you can grab a blue wire in the passenger kick in the harness that goes toward the rear of the truck. If you do not have the auto-dimming wire the + reverse wire is gray with a brown tracer stripe located in the reverse light relay in the battery junction box which is located in the engine bay near the battery behind the radiator. hope this helps

Lol if your mirror has the auto dimming feature it will go to normal while in reverse so you can see to back up.

OMG, FO, had a brainfart! lol I was 99% sure I knew, just wanted clarification. I rarely use it anyway backing up as you cannot see past the bed anyway. I use the camera and my side mirrors.

That's what I figured but wanted to clarify. I have come from a Jeep Wrangler that is 11 years old so I have not been used to such options! lol
