I wondered if other levels had gloss black. I have heard that black plastidip is a perfect match for the flat black.

The map for this navigation is not updatable by now,we have the navigation map which named Sygic is updatable, but it can not run in this navigation by now.we had contacted the factory and the map company to update the Compatibility, hope that we can solve it in the new year after we come back from holiday.or if you have the navigation map yourself,it is easy to replace with out map, just take out the sd card and install it,for details, please contact me.

this is a Win CE 6.0 OS,not Android.you can not install the app yourself, but it will be ready in the near further, which name Android navigation,we have a full line here Andriod in dash navigation.

and others are correct by the tester reply, thanks for his good work.

The maps are in an SD chip, I imagine they are updatable.

I don't know if android based, but I'm sure @sundaybuy could answer whether you can add an app or not. I'm guessing not.

It has an input for a front mounted cam/dvr and also backup camera.

Again, if I'm misstating anything, I'm sure sundaybuy will correct me.

What is the wifi option used for ? Does it use its own SIM card and provide a wifi hot spot or do you provide a wifi hot spot and it connects to it and can pull data from the internet ?

wifi is the wifi dongle which can connect to the wifi Router, something like your computer, then you can connect internet in the touch screen.

and you can use the 3G modem which you said a SIM card connect to the USB port,so you can connect to internet, too.

After it connect to internet, you can visit any website you like!

we had feedback to the factory about Sync, but they said it is a software Compatibility,so it will take long time to research,no exact reply and confirmation by now, thanks!Actually most of the Ford cars in China market with Sync now,but it seem no important for us,many people replace the aftermarket navigation and forget the Sync,hehe...

As requested, here's a video of the nav interface. Attaching from the phone, hope it works. It's actually VERY intuitive to use. Very fast and very simple. And extremely fast. Gives an overall view of the route and then a detailed view as well. Tons of options on how you want the route to go, what notifications, etc.

First time I've ever uploaded a youtube video, believe it or not. If you need me to make another video with a little better angle or something like that, let me know.
