SundayBuy.com Multimedia Navigation for 2009-2013 F150
#12
Things I'd like to see:
1. Specific instruction set for installation in the F150, including plugging in to the Ford CAN BUS, and routing the one plug back into the radio.
2. A little more intuitive radio interface, with presets buttons on the main touchscreen.
3. Full Ipod controls.
4. Charcoal black instead of gloss black for the radio surround (I have heard that plastidip is almost a perfect match for the inside charcoal black). I don't know if they have any other colors available for the tan interiors, etc.
5. A little translation work on the owners manuals, as they are worded a bit funky.
I am still learning stuff about the unit, and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask in this thread or drop me a PM. Thread is probably easier, as I need to clean out my PM box. :-)
Any picture requests are welcome as well.

See if SundayBuy can match the factory trim panel like the Advent unit

Looks nice, I'm more interested in the navigation, have you used it anymore?
Are you able to update the maps, what kind?
Could you make a video of the nav interface ?
Is this system running android, are you able to add other apps to it?
You said it has a ton of outputs and inputs.
Would I be able to install in front cam along with a back up?

Hi,
So this went into a stock 2009 with no screen etc right ?
Is it touch screen and 8 inches ? I am seriously considering grabbing this as I want an 8" with navigation/bluetooth etc ...
Thanks for testing it out

Appears the color on the panel is the same as an FX4. Maybe they can order different trim level colors for that??

The maps are in an SD chip, I imagine they are updatable.
I don't know if android based, but I'm sure sundaybuy could answer whether you can add an app or not. I'm guessing not.
It has an input for a front mounted cam/dvr and also backup camera.
Again, if I'm misstating anything, I'm sure sundaybuy will correct me.
