Suggestion for a Navigation unit
What would be the best bet for an in dash navigation unit. I have a 2008 XLT with a the stock am/fm, 6 cd changer, ipod, and sirius. I want to keep my sirius radio but most aftermarket nav units I find are not compatible. I also do not want to have to add to much (antennas, etc.). Is there a unit that is compatible with my current Sirius. Any suggestions would be great, I am on a limited budget as well. Thanks.

as far as a double din/single din flip out unit with nav, kenwood is the best unit on the market right now..there navigation is simply the easiest to use, fastest and best on the market, not to mention their units are flawless..they are a little pricey but worth every penny and then some

I'm partial to the Kenwoods as well. Quick performance other long boot up time, only thing necessary to see would be a bluetooth mic and a satellite antenna. If on a budget I would get a nicer 1 year old model than a base 2011. Update the gui and maps to the newest.

Regardless of which deck you go with you will need to buy the corresponding Sirius tuner, you can use the factory antenna though and hide the gps antenna under the top of the dash, that way you will have all the functionality and not see anything extra

For the AVIC-Z120BT are you required to use the provided microphone or can it be wired to the factory installed microphone? Can it also be installed where the steering wheel controls are still functional?
The unit looks awesome, however, I would not to see a microphone on my roof nor do I want to have useless buttons on my steering wheel. What (if any) navigation units are compatible with the aforementioned factory equipment?
