Default Sub question?

Has anyone ever heard of/dealt with Power Acoustik? I saw this sub, and it has good reviews, but was just curious if anyone has every had any problems with it?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the RMS for this is only 50-400. The PA was much higher. Doesn't that mean the PA should hit harder? Besides, my friend has Kicker, and I'm not all that impressed.

No. more power does not mean more output. Kicker and PA are both very subpar in quality.

Then what would you recommend? I want to be sure I get something with quality and quantity (output wise) so I don't waste my money on something I don't like. Any suggestions?

I just searched for a few minutes on the sa12's, and they seem to be pretty popular. Probably what I'm looking for. Thanks for the tip!

If you want sound quality and loud (SQL), you want something with a lot of CONTROLLED linear throw. A lot of subwoofers are designed around pure SPL, as much displacement as possible. The problem is they use old motor technology and without control you get a lot of distortion.
