Default Sub decision input.....

Ok, here's a link to my box. Basically it's 2 individual chambers with each having .64 cubic sealed and a mounting depth of 5.5". Woofer size 10", I'm going to be powering the subs with a jl audio slash 500/1. Any input? I basically listen to everything minus rap....fyi, the rest of the system consists of a pioneer avh-p4400bh, a jl audio slash 300/4 pushing the focal 6 1/2 seperates in the front and focal 6 1/2 coax in the rear. All wiring is knukonceptz....1 more thing, my current sub set up is a jl audio 10wo4 running off a jl audio slash 250/1 and I've been really happy with it but I want a little more.

Heres a few ideas. that 500w amp is going to hold you back with 2 10s.

First, I appreciate any and all input. I've been out of the stereo world for quite a while (probably as long as some people on here have been driving). As far as the 500/1 holding me back on 2 10's, like I said earlier I've been listening to my current setup since May 06 when I purchased the beast new. Now before that, I used to compete with IASCA, USAC, GIASCA, and NIASCA with a 1994 Grand AM GT. It was strictly a sound quality machine. For the sub setup, I ran 3 jl 8w6's being powered off the rear channel of a PPI A404. The front channel powered the front stage consisting of MB Quart seperates. So as you can see, I'm not a big bass head. Here is a link to the Grand AM. Picture technology wasn't that great back then. But if you look carefully, there's much more than meets the eye.

How about the sundown audio sd-2 10?http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.ph...sd-series.html They have nice output with good sound quality. Also take a look at the ground zero uranium subs. http://www.groundzerousa.com/gzuw-10sq.html
IMHO you can't go wrong with either. Just realized the gzuw-10 likes a little more airspace than will have. You may be able to get by with stuffing the box with some polyfill or focal black hole stuff.
