Default Sub box question

So I was doing some looking around online and also measuring my truck for what I found. My question for you guys is, because I have a 60/40 rear bench the measurements of the boxes that fit underneath wont fit because of the bracket in the middle area for the 40 seat. At least from what I can tell. When installing the box, does that bracket come out? Any help or pictures would greatly be appreciated. Oh, I have a 1998 XLT extended.

Here is what I opted for, a single downfireing box loaded with a JL 10 w 3v3 from fox acoustics , it is covered with Bedliner material not carpet, they also make a double box. Hits hard and is musically correct, I'm powering it with a JL jx 500-1 @ 4 ohms and it's more than enough for me. The seat latches down and doesn't require any mods. Except moving the jack.
