Hello acs259, I just completed my installation, 2017 F150 Lariat, 5.0, 501A, SCREW Shadow Black. Pioneer 10" Sub SW2502S4 in a SW250T enclosure, CM-D8601 amp all BEHIND the rear seat. Sub on an amp board behind the right rear seat and the sub behind the left rear seat - both sides fold up perfectly. All the bass I like and yes ti has a remote adjustment on it. All components moderately priced too.

Been thinking about the behind seat sub to keep the space underneath the seat. Im only worried it wouldnt produce as much bass. How does behind the seat perform? Does it give enough thump?

It hits pretty hard, way more than I will need.

I've been really happy with the Memphis Nannobox, still haven't ran into anyone with the Hideaway to compare it, but in theory it should hit a little harder than that. You could fit 2 of either behind the rear seats, but most of us running either unit are doing so because we don't want to run aftermarket wiring so it's not an option for us.
