Default Stock Stereo Speaks are junk, whats max size for replacement?

Afternoon all,

I have a 2011 XLT and the stock speakers all sound as if there BLOWN.. ( there just paper junk I know )

So I am looking to replace and If I am correct there 5x7's and I would like to get about as much bass out of them as possible component or 2 way's... I am looking at focal's, but wanted to see can I fit a 8 inch 2 way in each door? Or am I stuck with buying a 6 1/2 bracket?

Also where did you get your brackets?

5X7 or 6X8 are the right size for 6 1/2 you need an adapter.

With a little modification to the door, you might be able to get a 6x9 in there
