if you were near me i would just take one (or a couple) of the spares sitting in the shop and let you borrow it...
while their tech support seems to be ok this is preciously why i buy from crutchfield instead of any other online retailer or mom and pop little shop with or without a web site. you would have a new amp in your hands already if you had (but i know you got the deal on it from anywhere site). hope it works out fast for you.

I just can't do without music in my truck for two weeks, Audio control does not do Advance RMA on Car Audio. But they will expedite the return shipping. I was told, if they can't fix it I will get a new one! Hell, I am thinking about buying a cheap amp just so I don't have to disconnect a bunch of stuff. Any taught on a cheap amp that would work for a couple of weeks?

nope, i'm in ohio. i looked at their site and the AC amp has a 5 year warranty and a 60 day no-questions-asked policy but beyond that i could not say with certainty. i know when i had a problem with a piece of gear they sent me a replacement over night and a return shipping label however my purchase was only a week or so old.
can't tell you whether or not to buy the amp, that's a decision you have to make at $50 though you could probably sell it and get your money back relatively easy.

New update from Audiocontrol. They can't reproduce the issue (of course). They put a heat gun pointing near the amp for about 30 minutes, I told them that not even close to the same conditions in that truck, baking in the sun for 3 to 4 hours. They are going to some more testing tomorrow. Could someone do a favor and get some heat reading from your amps (Audio control or not).
Thanks.
Thanks.

Okay, I am throwing something else out there. I was listing to Mark from CAF on youtube. For the A-Pillar I am thinking about running a Morel Integra 424 Coax speaker in coincidence mode (The crossover for the midrange and Tweeter are offboarded, IE the speaker has two sets of posts one for the tweeter and one for the midrange). I would not have to worry about the timing difference between the tweeter and the midrange as they will be the same. I am just worrying two much about having three ways in the truck? Thought?
