Default Which speaker wires to tap into for LOC....

I've researched this all kinds but some tap into wires on the door, wires behind the HU and the four wires at the sub.

All I want to do here is add a sub, more then likely one 10". All I need is lower frequencies for the amp.

2014 Screw 700w sony with mytouch navi. It has the sub on the rear passenger side.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for pointing that out Wyo.

The 4 wires at the sub go directly to the speaker. The amp is under the console. You would need to add a wire from the battery and a turn on wire (fuse 38). Also low level converter for the speaker level wires you currently have.

So tapping into the 4 wires going to the sub would be adequate or would I get a better signal from the speakers at the doors or behind the HU..

Thanks WYo

You want to use the sub wires. They are crossed over for the sub frequency. The door speakers are crossed over at a higher frequency. With your HU all the crossovers are done at the amp under your console
