Speaker Recomendations?

I have the Sony Nav system and I replaced my 4 door speakers with Rockford Fosgate 1682 2-way speakers. I got them off ebay for $102 with adapters. Installation was really easy, less than an hour for all 4.
The new speakers filled the mid-range nicely and less distortion at really high volumes. Overall quality is improved and I'm happy with the results.

Are you doing your best to keep the Internet from getting too big or are you trying to win the douchbag trophy?

I have yet to figure out why people cry when someone asks a question that has already been asked. Who cares. People want information and the search tab doesn't work that great on here. If you don't like a question, then don't read it and even more, don't comment on it.

The reason for using the search is so that there isn't 500 threads on the same topic so when someone else actually does a search, they won't have to sift thru 500 threads. And the search function works very well on this forum.
The same could be said of the people (usually the new guys) that "cry" about posting just another thread on a topic that's been discussed over and over and over. Most people won't respond and then the OP will wonder why.

Most of it depends on budget.
Focal's high end component sets are pretty amazing (The K2 Powers and above). The Polyglass and Access series have very harsh tweeters, but solid mids.
Hybrid Audio-Legatia series and Rainbow-platinum series offer very competitive options in comparison to the Focals.

No need to start name calling.

It is a proven fact that speaker choice is entirely subjective. The only way to find what sounds good to you is to listen to as many as you can. Visit a good audio shop and spend some time at their demo board. SEARCH the forums to get ideas but dont buy soley on what others recommend. Yeah Focals, JLs, Hybrids, Hertz are all great drivers but spending lots of $$$ on a high end set is pointless if you are not putting in a quality HU, amps and doing a proper install.
