ok sorry to be a post *****..lol..but i found some nice boston acoustics speakers for a good price that seem to have nothing but good reviews...and dont need an amp...please tell me what you think : BOSTON ACOUSTICS S85

you have to be careful when you amp coax speakers, they dont take too much power and can bottom out fairly easily...as where components dont...did u look into those re comps?

i cant find those speakers u r talkin about...can you please link me?....

and as far as those boston acoustics are they good?...and i dont want to have to amp my speakers...i was just leaving it open as an option..but i would prefer not to

price is good....but i cant seem to find much info on them or reviews....

boston acoustics are good.....but the ones that are real good are out of your price range...if you get those re's u will not be disapointed...re is known for there massive spl subs, so there mids and highs were made to keep up...you WONT be disapointed, also did u look into the components?

re xxx's are great, but try to find an 06-07 model, that was the year of there prime, they make 2 sets of components, re re's, and re xxx's

My set up, i run my speakers off of an amp and they sound awsome, and they get really loud.

crunch makes a good mids and highs amp, but dont put a crunch amp on ur xxx plz

hahha, i would never push my subs with a crunch amp haha, i barely used it for my components but i got it for free. I might just run 1 XXX i just need to find someone who will build me a prefect box for it and I need to decide on teh right amp to push it with, any suggestions? links to the amp you suggest?
