Will the remote actually work off the Metra on a 2011? Thought a fuse tap would be required to the radio accessory delay relay.

I remember an issue with the HU getting it’s remote signal from the CAN bus except in 1 particular setup. However, people always find a neat trick around things others believe are not possible.

I’d run the red wire into a fuse tap on the accessory delay circuit to JL Amp. Mine is #41, 2011 “might” be 38. This keeps it all powered till the doors open after ignition off.
Also opted to power the line converter via tap into the unused key switched moon roof circuit. It’s not pro, but quick & easy.

Edit:
Sorry, if you have JL CL441dsp, it has a remote out that will feed JL? Then that makes my point invalid. Sorry to muddy your thread.

Yes i have the cleansweep, but it has a remote out to feed the amp and then it also has a ignition prong. which i would just assume do your setup, and run the my remote lead to that instead. and then run a remote from the cleansweep to the amp. make sense?

*edit* This is how I mean, sorry for the crude diagram. but i think its clear enough. but if my diagram makes sense, all i need to find out is which fuse to use. and i should be golden. *edit* just checked my owners manual. Fuse 38 is "delayed accessory - 110v power point, radio am/fm", fuse 41 is "passenger airbag deactivation indicator, upfitter switch (svt raptor)"

so it looks like #38 is our winner.
