Default sound processor help!

I'm upgrading factory sound by replacing front (kappa's 680.9cs)and rear(682.9cf),amp rockford fosgate 5ch. 1000w,sub p3sd2-10 and atrend single sealed box.I got myself a metra bt-5520 harness also.My question is i'm thinking of using an audiocontrol LC7i,as anyone used that and/or are happy with it?Is that accubass feature worth it? Would a LC6I do the trick?

Thanks for your help,i got to this point with all the ideas i've read in thi forum

Do you need signal summing?

I'd skip the accubass feature, you can control your sub level with the amp gain.

The accubass is supposed to undo the bass attenuation that some factory HU's do as when the volume is cranked. So its not the same thing as manually controlling amp gain unless you are going to constantly tweak it in real time based on the HU's volume level.

If he needs signal summing, he's got the Sony system which shouldn't have noticeable bass attenuation.

I don't have sony.I thought amp would take care
of bass level,so not sure if LC7I was going to make a difference.

Without the Sony system with the sub, you shouldn't need signal summing. So you can go with a cheap LOC or an amp with speaker level inputs.

Accubass is your call, I don't really think it's necessary.

I was running a lc6i before and I think it makes a difference. I like to believe that it makes the sound coming out of the speakers more clear and less muddy

That's where i'm at,the LC6i does'nt have the accubass feature,i'm wondering if LC7i would be worth it or is the amp able to tweak bass without the accubass?
