Tried searching, but want to do this as straight forward as possible as I am sort of wiring illiterate and I saw a lot of different ways.
Have a 2010 FX4 scab with the "upgraded" sony system with SYNC and 6cd. Not impressed with it compared to what I have had in the past and want to change it out.

I want to put a new sub and amp in along with door speakers while retaining all the facotry stereo features and HU.
Baiscally need to know how to connect the new amp into the existing system to run the new speakers and sub off of? What all components will I need to buy beyond the speakers, amp and sub?

Any info or threads would be really helpful.

I'm in the process of doing this with my 2013.....I think I've finally decided to get the Audison Bit Ten, and possibly the JL Audio SSi to sum the signals into it.
