Default Sony Sound System Upgrade Wire Harness Connectors

All,

New member here and love the content that this site has. Ultimately I picked my truck up on Thursday... not even a week old and already looking to do an upgrade to the sony sound system. Like many of the pages I've seen here most people simply cut into their wire harness on the output of the Sony amp. After coming over to the Ford world from a BMW (never going back) I like most of you was searching for an option where I didn't have to cut the factory harness, and ultimately could reverse the system back to stock very easily. I spent hours searching through all the different harness manufactures, crutchfield, sonicelectronics... everybody and it seemed like nobody had an answer until I stumbled on this webpage below.... (I feel like I should go buy some lotto tickets)

Behold the part numbers for the Sony amp connectors:
The Series 1.5 section starts at page 17 of the PDF.
The part numbers for the 16-pin Blue polarity B connector are:
Male: 7282-5535-90 or 7282-6456-90
Female: 7283-5535-90 or 7283-6456-90
The part numbers for the 16-pin Grey polarity C connector are:
Male: 7282-5536-40
Female: 7283-5536-40 or 7283-3585-40
Where there are 2 part numbers, the second is for the newer 'Kaizen' version of the part, which are interchangeable with the YESC versions (the first part number). The terminals have to be ordered separately.
I found each of these connectors are available through Nexus Electronics (http://www.nexelec.com/default.asp)

Yazaki catalog: (see pages 13-19)
http://www.yazaki-na.com/user_area/u...Supplement.pdf

Anyways, I just ordered them so now its going to be fun getting the system ready for the big install. I'll keep you posted on the progress

Got mine installed too, the clips I mentioned above do work, I suggest getting two sets of everything in case you screw up your original set. I was able to install a full custom system without cutting any of the stock wiring.

I'm still working on the fine tuning details, I don't believe I'm getting the best signal from either the sony amp or how the JL Signal summing/cleansweap are processing it.

Anyone else out here doing installs without cutting anything stock?
