I would think the switched power relay is flaky. There is a fuse panel on the right side of the passenger kick area just in front of the door. Pop the outer panel and check fuses 2, 9, 10, 19, 26, 29, 32 and 38. All of those fuses are used in the stereo/sync/nav/delay power controls and can get carbon buildup on the contacts. Just pulling them out and putting them back in would clear any bad connection. The power relay for the stereo is #49 on the picture below. I would replace it (if it is the same type...often the same relay is used in many places) with one of the trailer relays in the box under the hood (relay #6 or 9 in the last picture attached) if they are the same.
The fuel pump relay in my 09 acted up once and I swapped it with the trailer light relay until I could order one from Amazon. The truck wouldn't start when the relay went flaky.

Well, I pulled all the fuses and they looked okay...a couple looked a tad chalky/corroded but nothing very serious at all. Cleaned them up then I pulled the relay and swapped it with one of the trailer relays under the hood and....BINGO! Stereo seems to be working great! I'm not sure whether it was the slight corrosion on a fuse or the relay?! I'm going to order another relay just to be safe but hey, it's working! LOL. I really appreciate all the help!!!! You really took some time and you didn't have to!!! Much appreciated!
