I just put 2 6.5" DD audio subs under my back seat and several people have asked me "what kind of 12's are you running" their jaw drops when i show them what they are. its not super loud or going to win any contest but they are impressive. i had the kicker soundstage sub behind the back seat but it just was not enough. also the boxes are small enough so i can easily remove one or both when i need the floor space which is quite a bit thats why i went this route.

I think the Kicker Hideaway is definately the best option, as long as its not a big 'In your face' Sub your looking for. I was able to fit it under my drivers seat using the fittings provided. It took me about 45 mins to install it, and I had no issues connecting it up to my aftermarket double din. Its not crazy loud, but does provide some really good low down bass and vibrations, which is what I was looking for. It is almost completely hidden underneath my seat, and you wouldnt notice it being there, apart from the nice bass! I wrote a review post if anyone wants to check it out, just click HERE

if you can find one (or a pair like i run) because they stopped making them the jbl gto804 are amazing little subs. i was so impressed by them using an in-cab install that i run a pair of them in two of my vehicles. they require almost no airspace in a sealed enclosure (0.35cf), sound amazing and when you want to you can make them rattle the entire truck

i am currently running the pair in the f150 from the 5th channel of an alpine pdx v9 and loving it. the other car is running a pair from the 5th channel of the original pdx5 and they are just as happy.

i bought a semi-custom enclosure from supercrew sounds for them. it fits under the drver's side rear seat in my scab so i can still flip up the passenger side if needed for gear. it's basically their normal box just cut down and built to the spec i needed, the 0.35cf of space for each sub.
