Default Sirius XM question?

How can one retain the Sirius XM radio after removing the stock radio unit(no nav) and installing an aftermarket screen with a built in Sirius XM tuner?

I am told the XM receiver is in the truck. The aftermarket radio is "XM Ready".

Depends on what year of truck you have. Newer ones have the Sirius built into the factory HU. I doubt that your aftermarket HU has a XM tuner. That is why it says XM ready.

You may need an adapter to go with this. What brand is your new radio?

Get this. No adapter needed. I just put one on my new JVC.
