Perhaps the PXE H660 is the way to go.
The PXE H660 has a remote that lets you control on the go. Check out alpines site, and it will let you know what variables are controlled by the remote.

The H660 was really engineered for your application, and anyone who wants to retain a factory HU, but have aftermarket SQ.

Hey Joe, easy on the "ignorance" padnuh. Just simply giving my opinion. I know exactly what those devices can do.

I think you will be highly impressed by what that device can do... It will change the way you think about car audio and processors. You actually get what you pay for with a DSP. And at 220 bucks, its a steal when you already need a LCQ and low level outputs.

I had the PXA C701 with the RUX on the fly headunit, and LOVED IT. I recently upgraded to the PXA H800(compliments of my sister who works at crutchfield). The mic and tuning process can be tedious, but with a few hours of listening you will have a concert/studio in your car. The DSP can almost take all of your unwanted sounds out of the equation and replace them with a competition type SQ car.

Let me know if you need anymore info, and if you decide to purchase I would love to hear what you think about it.

Got a few crown royals in me so a little "ornery" and apologize for any rudeness. Opinions aside - you listen to Skrillex so still ok in my book

Simply put there is the right tool for the job at hand and while expensive DSPs certainly have their place in the toolbox. Under rated in my opinion and I bet in a year or two will be the standard in allot of aftermarket HUs. Already there in the Pioneer P99 which I why I don't need the Bitone anymore.

Thanks for all the info. I've found a few on eBay and may be able to get one cheap. I will post my thoughts on it when its all said and done.

Would the Alpine work with the Sony premium system? Seeing that you would have to have inputs for the front mids/tweets and rear full range and sub?

Some of the higher end Alpine's have 8 channel inputs 4-front 2-rear 2-sub.

Does the truck have the factory equipment? Or do you plan on upgrading the speakers as well?

I have upgraded the speakers to Polk MM6501s in front, and DB571s in rear. I am keeping the factory HU and right now powering everything off the factory Sony amp. I have a JL Audio XD700/5 coming and I want some sort of processor to put in before the amp. The Sony amp has the crossover built in so it sends out the separate highs and mids to the fronts, but once I get the amp I will use the crossovers that came with the MM6501s so I need something that will take the six channels and the sub.
