That is THE AUX INPUT... It provides more connection options to use it than just a 1/8" plug.

OK well those are a/v inputs I no they can be used as suck but was looking to see if the trucks had a dedicated 1/8 AUX. And apparently not.

Probably because this is 2015 and there is not a need for that type of jack with USB and BT available.

It's outdated tech

A/v inputs are mad old. First thing I thought was wow I can plug my old super nintendo into this.

Just a side note. The new 2015 trucks have a true AUX INPUT.
