Well I must have a special truck cause I installed aftermarket speakers with tweeters in my doors and the tweeters in them work just find.

I have the Sync Sony 700watt systems.

Yep but shhhh it's a secret that we coonass get special trucks built in a completely different section of the KC and DB plants.

i believe this has value in his original question. what good is a tweeter in the door if its only getting a low signal?

Weird...I have a '14 w/ Sync and A pillar tweeters. I used the harness referenced here (Metra) and added Pioneer two way speakers and my highs/tweets sound just fine. As I recall, the tweeters in the pillars get a full signal, but have capacitors on them to limit the lower freqs. (don't quote me on that)
