Default Replacing factory speakers?

How much would it cost me to replace my factory speakers for my 2008 supercrew? I just want some speakers that will allow me to play as loud as I would need to but not worry about blowing speakers...

its better to flip around your question, instead of asking how much give us a budget, what you listen to etc....there is so many different type of speakers on the market that the possibilities are endless and so is the price really....the best bet for you would be get a good 4 channel if you dont have one already and piece together your own component set...would be the most inexpensive, sound great and be hella loud..its what i usually do when customers come to me saying i want this but i can only afford this.

what i would do is get a good solid 4 channel, then drop some decent money at www.partsexpress.com...a good combo that will get loud and sound pretty good is selenium 6w4p, real good solid midbass and get real loud with great quality...then as far as the highs vifa makes great products at very inexpensive prices vifa bc25sc06-04, then you just need to find a crossover that works with there crossover points unless your experienced enough to run active, which since your asking this type of question im gonna suggest you dont do (im not trying to be a dick just saying i dont think you have the knowledge to run a active set up) and your set, dont forget to add some deadener too around and behind the speakers, makes a world of difference

yes, you can get them both at partsexpress.com though instead of getting them from 2 different sites, and sound deadener, you can get second skin...thats what i use, its kinda spendy but damn good product, the damplifier pro, works wonders, it will increase your midbass drastically, and make the speakers louder just by adding a layer or 2 of that...and what the crossover does is breaks up the frequencies the tweeter and the mid get, the tweeter cant get full frequency it will blow, some can only get say 12,000hz and above, some can only take 8,000hz and above, a crossover takes care of that and only sends the speakers whats best for them

2 way crossover, and 1 selenium mid, 1 vifa tweet per door, and there is lots of options on 4 channels, a pretty good inexpensive option is mb quart onyx series, are you going to be adding a sub too if you dont have one already?
