Default Replacing 2010 headunit. What do I lose?

I have a 2010 XLT, with a basic radio. No Sync, no NAV, single CD. I'm looking to replace this unit with some sort of double DIN touchscreen headunit.....But if I do this, what happens to my little LCD screen? Do I get to keep the clock, compass and outside temp? And what wiring harness will I need (if anyone knows)...

I've searched on this forum for answers to these questions, and couldn't find them. So I appreciate any help you guys can provide.
