Default Radio Problems HELP

05 F150
radio is on with key turned on, but when the truck is started the radio goes black and is completely dead. Its not resetting because if i turn it off, and turn the the key back all my settings stay the same. Im thinking i have a faulty wire somewhere? checked the radio fuses and they're fine. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Check all your fuses, there are more than just 1 that go to the radio, I looked at an 04 schematic so it should be close.

i only found 2 fuses mentioned in my owners manual and its the number 7 with a 5A described as "start signal" and number 31 thats a 20A thats described as "Radio Power". I pulled both fuses and they're good. Not sure if there is something else I'm missing that controls that yikes

Did you use a test light to check them? Sometimes a fuse can look good but be bad. Don't check just the ones the manual says, check them ALL.

Just an issue I've seen before but if the ignition switch has some wear it will do the same thing, try jiggling the switch to see if it powers up.
