Default Question regarding 2012 Tweeters

Hey everyone,

I have searched for 2 weeks now and cant find an answer to this. I am looking to upgrade my tweeters and mid's in my 2012 XLT with the tweeters in the A pillars.

My question is: Does the tweeter have a separate output from the headunit to the A pillar and a separate output from the headunit to the mid in the door?

I tried to find both a wiring diagram and searched countless threads but nobody has the answer that I have found!

Thanks for the help

Probably just a cap on the tweeter to block the lows. Disconnect the mid is the door and if the tweeter goes dead you will know for sure

Great advice, I had the same assumption regarding the cap. I never came to the simple conclusion of disconnecting the door mid... doh!

Thanks!

Also any wireing diagrams you may need,if you drop by your local dealer they can copy any of the diagrams out of their EVTM's for you.Or at least we do for our customers.

I pulled my driver side A-pillar cover off with no problem.
