PXE-H660 Wiring
#21
I haven't hooked mine up yet but am approaching the finish line on my install so I should be wiring it up tonight or tommorow and may be able to help more.
But it might have to do with the Power On Auto detect...are you running a remote on from a switched source?

I have remote wire from the HU, but I cut it and am using Auto-Sensing. if you go back a few pages in this thread (https://www.f150forum.com/f30/2011-f1...nstall-157038/), you'll see what I did.
I'm almost at wits end with this thing. I hope you have better luck.

The pxe was driving me nuts at first i tuned liked 10 times and would get different speakers not working each time...figured out that i had to turn my amp gains up during tuning and it sounds good now. Next step is some laptop tuning.

Laptop tunning doesn't do much. You have to run through the whole set up again. then on the last page you have a couple of options (4 to be exact) on how you want the graph to look, and you can also modify the mid and high (modify, as in lower to a present amount). I found the software to be useless. I ran it 3 times. I finally went back to the old fashioned way and liked the result better (although, not much better.)
