Default Pulled the trigger...

Against my better judgement I just purchased a bunch of stuff that i probably shouldn't have lol here is what I got:

Alpine X008U Headunit
Kicker 40CSS684 components for the front
Kicker 40CS84 for the rear
Kicker 10C84 8" sub to replace the stock audiophile one
iDatalink maestro for steering wheel controls

I'm not really a huge audiophile but a new job has me sitting in the truck for longer than my previous job so I get to enjoy some more tunes. I had the stock audiophile HU and I have no problems with it, I really only listen to satellite radio and bluetooth stuff from my phone which the stock one had no problem with. I just didn't really want to add an amp and run wiring to the speakers for the stock HU.

Obviously i spent much than i would have with just adding an amp to the stock HU but if I am happy with it then Ill keep it, if not ill just put the stock unit back in and return the Alpine.

Any thoughts on this setup?

Return the Kicker garbage, rip out the factory sub and build a real sub box with a decent sub. Amplify every speaker

You asked for thoughts. Not trying to be a ***, just steer you away from low-end equipment...
