My 16 King Ranch also has the sony and am very interested in following what you did. Can you tell me where you got the specs for the sub box? I can make it myself if I had info like dimensions.

Feel free to say no. Do you mind sharing the measurements? Did you make a drawing of it with the measurements?

Thanks,

Rey

Sorry, been busy today, when I get home I'll post the sketch, I don't mind sharing.
Then you can just verify your space is the same as mine.

Here you go, it's best to build a cardboard one first to make sure it fits.
This is just a rectangle box with side pieces that give it the angle and room for the sub to down fire. I had to put the sub under middle seat because drivers side had the raised part where the jack was, sounds better in middle also.

You rock my friend. Thank you! Will post an update when I do this as I was used to the sound system I put in my previous vehicle. The Sony isn't terrible but really falls short to what I'm used to.

I have a 2011 Lariat without the navigation. Can you tell me what I need to buy in order to put in a new aftermarket navigation stereo? I want to be able use the steering wheel controls and I have a back up camera and the monitor comes on through the rear view mirror. What wire do I buy to be able to use the existing camera?

Are you talking about replacing the head unit?
