Powered Sub or 10in pioneer?
Hello truckers,
Awhile back I upgraded my sound system to a kenwood HU and Kenwood speakers. Now I am looking into adding sum bass into the mix.
I am not huge on blaring music, but there are times when I work around the truck that I would like some power to the system. So...
Powered Sub such as:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777B8PT...TD.html?tp=114
Or
10'' sub and amp such as this:
I want it to fit cleanly under my rear seat. I see that the pioneer is very snug and may need some modification to make it look nice.
any input is greatly appreciated!

I had the Pioneer 10in flat powered by a smaller MTX terminator, running 214watts. There is a speaker box company in Clearwater that sells them through an ebay store and on their website. Brightstar Car Audio. Cost me about $85 shipped and they carpeted it in black. Fit very well and was built solid.
I didnt have a need for two subs, i just had one. The best option.....if you can find it, was the Rockford/saleen box that was optional on the S331 truck back in 07-08. Rockford used to sell them through an ebay store, i think they have all disappeared. Unless you find one with a Rockford badge and Pioneer flat woofer already in it...then its mine and was stolen out of my truck in 2011.....so, i had to get a new system
