Default Is it possible

I have the optional sony system with nav in my truck and like most people I am not happy at all with the actually bass being produced from the stock sub. I plan on taking it out and running a hybrid audio 8.

My question is, is it possible to run straight wire from the factory amp to this sub for now. I know the stock sub has a plug connector to it and I would simply remove this and just run your tradition style wire.

Also how hard is it to access the factory amp?

Does this amp run the front speakers and rear door speakers as well or is there another amp for the mids and highs? Going in a 2012 btw

Check This Out. Bass is a lot more desirable.

The sub is self powered meaning it has it's own amp. May are disconnecting it and then using the wiring to add a new amp and sub
