Default Pioneer Speakers

I am looking to upgrade the speakers in my 05 screw. I was thinking of replacing the door speakers with these http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...neer/TS-A6882R
The deck I have is a Pioneer AVIC-D3. Would I need to add an amp at all to run these speakers or will they work just fine with out one.

you dont NEED to add an amp, but if you want to get the full performance out of them then yes you do

yes to what logan said.... when you get a deck and it says 50 watss x 4 that is WLHI (when lightning hits it) most decks have come along way but just a small good clean amp will make you really enjoy the music and here yourself saying "i never heard that in that song before" dont worry about wattage as much as good clean power... also distortion will mess up a set of speakers before power will..

Yeah i would like to do an all premier setup but that is a lot of money. What should I look for in an amp. I know very little about amps so have no idea what to get to power those speakers with a AVIC-D3

go to www.crutchfiled.com and look at some amps... then do a google search for reviews on that amp...that should tell u more than enough. everyone has there best amp. but everyone also has different criteria, some money doesnt matter, some best bang for the buck and etc...
I just bought a MTX tc 6004 4 channel amp, discontinued model, but still is a pretty clean amp. rated at 150 watts x 4 at 4ohm but mine is doing 192 x 4 at 4 ohms. I am assuming they underate theres so they dont have ticked off customers.

So what I have come down to is these two amps
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/P...ems=130GM6400F

Since the speakers are rated at 50 ohms, I should get the GM4300F since it is rated at 40 ohms and not the GM6400F because it is rated at 60 ohms.

I don't really trust ebay and prefer pioneer as a brand. I also don't want the cheapest one i can get either. I know how it goes when buy aftermaket parts, you get what you pay for
