The sound quality is great and yeah it sounds a lot better than stock HU. I did not get the steering wheel controls and dont think I will.
Next up, add BT and Nav.
Here is a couple night shots from a cell phone..
I changed the screen color from green to orange on this one and normally it IDs the radio stations.
Here playing Xmen origins off of SD card w/ black bars on top and bottom of film (Im working on that one)

Nice install! Thanks for the pics, both day and night. One question, can you have the music going (cd, mp3, or satelite) and still have the backup camera on while in motion, or have you not tested that since you dont have a BU camera? Thanks!

Best Buy did the install and parking brake bypass. Everything works great.

Looking at replacing the stock CD player in my 2k6 with this or the 3200. Probably add the pioneer backup camera, too.
Just checked out best buy's installation pricing. Looks like it'd cost $100 + the cost of the harness and dashboard kit - ouch!
I think I'd rather save the 100 and install it myself.
Anybody know how to find the proper harness and dash kit (and the cheapest place to buy them)?

Funny thing is they quoted me 100 for everything and set a date. They hit me w/ the extra when I got there so I didnt pay it all. Anyway yeah, www.crutchfield.com will give u everything u need.

Iv got mine coming in tomorrow and im excited to see and hear it.. Bought mine off Crispdeals at $395
(cheapest) for the HU and 7.99 for the install kit. I will be purchasing the BT and NAV along with the Sat Radio adapters later from them since they are cheaper than any other sites plus if u find it more they match or beat the price. Im waiting to hear from them since i found the install kit for 4.99 on J&R. Will post pics later.
