I am currently looking at the Kenwood 9702S and see that the 9703S is out or coming out real soon. I wander what the difference will be in the two.

I have a Pioneer 4100-nex and love it! The only thing that I don't like is manually switching from android auto to apple car play. My wife has an iPhone and I have a Nexus 6P and it has to be switched in the menu. Kenwood's unit detects what's plugged in and switches automatically. You can also use your Chromecast to cast video with your phone. Here's a video of Chromecast in action!

Got a 8000NEX for almost 2 years now. Thing is flawless with incredible sound and packed with TONS of features. Only issue I have with Pioneer is they advertise all of those features on the box, but it took a year of firmware updates to finally incorporate all of them. False advertising, but at least they made good.

I have a new kenwood, don't drive the truck daily so I don't have a model # but it has everything and I absolutely HATE it. It's terrible with Pandora. Kenwood still requires a wire to connect with an iPhone. The Pandora and satellite radio cut out like CDs skipping. This is the second kenwood I have owned. I had to pioneers between them and they both were so far ahead of the kenwoods. I lost all my sync, it sucked anyway but it was still supposed to work.

Kenwood then Alpine. Both are solid. Go through Crutchfield and use their advisor feature to get all the right parts.

Well I went with a Pioneer AVH-X2800BS for the time being until next tax season. Will probably go with the 4200NEX then.
