Default Oem back up camera wired into an aftermarket head unit

I posted this on the 09-14 section with no help.

I'm posting it here as well

I scored one of these...

I just need to get the bezel for the gate. My Sony xav-601bt has a back up camera. When I installed it, I basically roughed it in for that. Hoping to do it in the future, once I got a camera. But the hu has a video cable, you know the rca type with the yellow connector? The oem harness has a real connector.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Thanks.

Don't you work at a dealer? Hit up the tech's or someone in service for a wiring schematic. I'd help but only have access to a 13 diagram.

If it is in your harness, look behind the kick panel in front of the drivers side door. You will see a coaxial cable (center conductor with shield). It splits to go thru a connector and so is pretty obvious. It should also be in the harness pictured. According to the wiring diagram, the camera also has connections to the OBD network. I think the guidelines are added to the video stream by the camera. They are set using the steering wheel buttons as is camera zoom. So you will need the buttons and probably also will need to have the dealership 'add' the camera so the computer system in the truck will see it.

Yeah, this is for an aftermarket stereo, not oem. I figured it all out anyway in my other thread, thanks though
