Not satisfied with replacement speakers

Good deal. As I read the thread linked to by TMV above, I see reports of audio cutting out, but it seems more of an issue with
a) attempts to power the amp (which expects 15A or so) through the Parrot harness (which has a 3A fuse) and having it fail due to the Parrot harness wiring not being able to handle more (obviously), and
b) improper grounding.
In other words, powering the amp with its own separate power wire, and a dedicated ground wire, should preclude the issue mentioned above.
I appreciate the patience, gentlemen.

I cut the Parrot fuse out of my harness, and power it off the radio circuit, on my '13. Haven't had any issues in the 2ish years it's been installed.
As said above, no need for LOC, although, one, or something simliar, will be needed down the road when the powered sub is added.

Well, taking my truck in today to have the subwoofer installed. Sound place in my state is selling the Substage (no amp) for $130 on eBay; bought mine last week Friday, and it was delivered yesterday. The mounting brackets were bent slightly but other than that it's in primo condition.
