Great looking build, there something classic about a yellow Porsche! Do you use staples for the sub box?

Ha - The rear fenders on the Cayman should be in an art museum somewhere... But yes I do like the GTS.

nope, no staples. well that isn't entirely true. the origianl volcano used staples to hold the base material in place while it was being coated in resin. the final product (now) has no staples.

oh, one other thing - mine is white. it's the way the cup cars come from the factory and i optioned this car mainly for the track, and since cup cars are the fastest versions white must be the fastest color

i agree. that is what really set it off for me - the fender lines. just so hot.... aside from the front clip and rear diffuser there really isn't much different between the GTS and the S/base (though the new GTS does have 15hp more than the S, but are you going to notice a difference between 350 and 365?). both pieces are available to purchase separately if one was so inclined

as far as which is the best ever looking porsche? well that ranks right up there with "what is the best amp/sub to use" or "what is the best oil to use in my car" - it's completely subjective. i was always a fan of the 911 until the 964 era - that's when they lost me. for me a 356A speedster is the best looking porsche ever built and i swear it has nothing to do with the fact that a super hot kelly mcgillis drove one in top gun!)

btw... if anyone is near ohio and wants to learn about doing DE events at tracks just drop me a pm. i am an instructor and would be happy to give you some info and maybe get you out on the track. or if you are near Daytona i instruct one weekend in December every year.
