Default No sound through all speakers.

In my 1992 F150 I have an aftermarket Pioneer head unit. I'll be driving and listening to the radio and the sound from all the speakers stops. This is with any radio station or even a CD... The equalizer(?) left right display thing on the head unit shows that sound is being put to the speakers but nothing it getting to the speakers. Would something being loose cause this or what?

Also does anyone have tips on removing this unit from the dash? I've pulled on the front and pushed from the back and it seems stuck.

You may have an issue with the internal amp on the head unit.

There should be a little slot behind the faceplate on either side of the head. You need to push something in there to release the clips holding the cd player to the frame.
