Default New system questions

So my wife is gona let me start on my stereo. I have a limit of 500$. I decided on a pioneer avh-p4300dvd as my HU. Ive read good things about the Infinity Kappa's, so I wana put 680.9cs's up front with 693.9I in the rear. For all of it I priced it to 580$, and she wont let me have any leway in price. So my question is will it sound good if I just replace the front speakers for now. Im in a 07 supercrew.

You don't need to replace the rear speakers at the same time. Do your fronts and you'll be fine

You say cracking a whip, I say keeping our priorities straight. In the military with a lil girl and one on the way, so I take what I can get.

Just a thought to put out there. Keep the factory HU and replace speakers and add an amp/sub. What I did and I am very happy with the sound.

i plan on doing an amp with 2 10's and the rear speakers down the road. Right now I really want the pioneer HU so I can play dvd's for my lil girl on long trips to keep her entertained.

Exactly what I did. I was in a similar situation, choosing between speakers or HU, and I chose the exact same HU actually. FYI if you have a factory sub you'll need an adapter so it'll still function.

Good luck; both in and out of your truck.
