alright guys i have a 05 scab fx4 with all factory system. and well they!! however with christmas coming up my wife says i can upgrade it (on a budget) so heres my questions
1, is upgrading the speakers alone worth it?
2, do i need to do the radio first?
3,just wait till later and do both at the same time?

im not looking for subs (yet) just nice stereo sound and hopefully under 200 bucks for it (all money alotted for xmas)

Pickup two sets of 6x8s from a reputable brand with the highest "Sensitivity" you can find.

Crutchfield is a good starting point. Enter truck info to see what fits and also has reviews. Can buy from them or most likely cheaper elsewhere. With Crutch you get great customer service and some freebies. Do not forget to buy wiring harness adapters.

Check out infinity reference 6x8's, they are 2 ohm compatible and should sound great off the factory head unit and affordable.
