Default NEW Aftermarket Headrests in 2013 FX4

Got these off Amazon for around 280 bucks shipped. Having USB and SD card input was a must instead of DVD only. Its much easier putting digital movies in than carrying around a bunch of DVDs. It seems to work just fine with AVI files. High resolution .mkv, .mp4 not so much. They match the black leather perfect and zip up to cover them when not in use.

I found a White switched power wire inside the center console that turns off when the key is removed from ignition.

Not too bad for 280 bucks and 3hrs to install. Prob would have been much faster if i had known where and what to take apart first.

The screen resolution is not spectacular but for the little ones in the back they will probably never notice.

The only thing that didnt match up perfect was the stitching in the leather. The ford head rests are lighter color but i doubt anyone would notice.

They had a little bit of wiggle when driving with the plastic post adapters so i bought some new posts for them off ebay. It was more work than i expected having to desolder a few spots but they are rock solid now.

I did notice another output terminal on the mother board when i opened it up. So if i need another output for the players i can easily be done.
