Default Needed: 5 channel amp suggestions for my set up

I’m trying to do my system right this time as far as components go. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve had one and in my teens I just threw together what worked. This time I’m going Morel Tempos in all the doors, (2) JL Audio W3’s 10”, Fox Box, Bit Ten, and now I’m in need of a 5 channel amp to power it all. I would like to know what everyone is using with a similar type of system. Thanks in advance!

That's a pretty nice setup you landed on. Are the subs 2 or 4 ohm each?
At 500w RMS each, you'd be better served with a 4 channel plus mono amp.
What's your budget?

That’s a good question and I did not give it any thought. Is one better than the other as far as impedance goes? I’d like to stay in the $6-$800 range.

It depends on your amp choice, but it would definitely be easier to stay in your budget if you buy two 4 ohm subs, wired for a 2 ohm final load.

This JBL GTR-1001 is a great deal for a sub amp. And the matching GTR-104 is on sale cheap right now also. Both solid amps that would drive your setup quite nicely.
There are virtually no 5 channel amps that put out 1000w on the sub channel.

I would switch the subs with Image Dynamics IDQ10 or Morel Ultimo SC 10's

IDQ10 (V.4 D2) is a great suggestion! As good or better than the W3 for less money. The Morel is almost double the price, though.

i would suggest either the arc xdiv2 5 or 6 channel, or the alpine pdxv9. both are amazing amps with the nod for sq given to arc. i run the arc in my cayman powering dynaudio esotar2 110/650 and an alto mobile falstaff 12. i run a pdxv9 in my old 911 powering a set of dynaudio esotec 102/162 and a pair of jbl got804 subs.

Alpine PDX-V9 is a very nice amp and the JL Audio VX1000/5i is even better since it has a built-in DSP.
