Need help finding the right subs
Hey guys I got a 02 SC and my original plan was 2 alpine type r 12s but I thought for my truck its too much. I had a full alpine system in my civic and took some sound comps but im open to other suggestions. Aa few local sound shops had different views on alpine, varying from worse than a walmart brand to one of the best.
The setup I have in mind is onw type r 10 rated at 600rms and 1800 peak ( http://www.techronics.com/caraudio_1...SWR1043D-.html ). For the amp i chose the alpine m1000. Rated at 1000rms at 2 ohm, 600rms at 4 omh and 2000 peak ( http://www.techronics.com/caraudio_8...Amplifier.html )

I'd recommend at least two tens, especially if you have had a decent system in the past. What kind of mounting depth can you manage? Are you doing a seat lift?
I definitely wouldn't put a single 10 that only has a sensitivity of 83 dBs in there.
