Default Need help ASAP with tapping in to Aux

I'm picking up an adapter for my after market stereo so I can use my aux. I'm going to splice one end to connect to the wiring of my 2012 XLT factory aux. does anyone know which wire on the aux input I need to use for the audio to work. TIA

You will actually have 2 or 3 wires. Ground ++

Looks like I have four wires to tap in to. From left to right is

Blue/green stripe
White/green stripe
Yellow/green stripe
Solid blue

I'm using a USB and splicing it to tap in to. Anyone know which wires I'm connecting to

So what are you hooking up? The AUX or the USB? You can't combine them both

At least in the 07-08s, they used + and - for both channels (4 wires total).

To connect a standard 3.5mm jack, you'd need to splice both negatives into the single negative on the jack. I'd guess the striped wires as the negative signals.

Ok so after hours and hours of going back and fourth to the shop getting multiple adapters, going on line and everyone saying the lightning cable isn't compatible I decided to just plug the cable directly in to the USB and what do u know. Plug and play, it all works out and I'm an,e to stream and play music.
