I have the eq flat and the driving volume adjustment turned off. I'm not getting any alternator whine or anything like that - just a light amount of white noise at no volume. The sony amp puts out some voltage even when the volume is at 0.

I'm sure to most people it would be not noticeable, to be honest.

There's no roll off/low cut on the front speaker's bass. It's full range.

I ran some white noise through the Sony system and here's the output of the factory amplifier.
So you must sum the front doors and tweeters to get a full range signal (sub isn't needed).
The factory system is also equalized, so you'll want to use a processor (like a Bit One or Bit 10, for example) to flatten the factory EQ curve.
Also, you'll have to pull a few pins in the factory amps input to get rid of the fake engine noise if you have an EcoBoost as its overwhelming once you amplifier the signal.

I have a summed front stage going to a mosconi 6to8 v8, I get no engine noise though. (Running an ecoboost). I'm going to be ordering a JL Fix-82 to put between my factory amp and my mosconi, though. I've read a lot of good things about that thing since I found out about it yesterday.

I'm hoping I'll see less distortion to the mosconi at high volumes with that in between.
